This game is along the theme of cooking / food sayings, idioms or phrases. 36 pictorial popular catch phrases or sayings to encourage thinking skills and speaking and listening skills. There are 4 catch phrases on each page. It is fun to work against the clock! Children can work in pairs or teams to try to work out the answers. An answer sheet is provided for them to mark off. Cut out the cards and laminate for a game you can keep and reuse. As an extra activity children can research and write the meanings of the phrases.
